This three-storey home occupies part of a former electrical factory in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. You enter into a bare-brick-walled hallway (telling the building’s history) on the first floor, that’s now decorated with pieces of art. It leads along to an open plan space that incorporates a sitting area and dining room, the kitchen and the industrial staircase. On the left, before you leave the sitting space, there’s a terrace with space for outdoor dining beside the potted bamboo and a peaceful Buddha.
