Villa Scetona lies beneath the picturesque Medieval hill town of Cetona. Here, you can wander the narrow hilltop streets and duck into stores selling artisanal fare, like the superb Terre di Siena DOP olive oil produced by the local groves. Enjoy lunch in the beautiful town square, sampling specialities like the hearty pasta dish pastrignocchi, followed by a refreshing gelato. Guests can cycle or hike through the gently rolling countryside surrounding the villa, and for water sports enthusiasts, the stunning Lake Trasimeno is only a 30-minute drive away.
Natural light floods into Villa Scetona, where you’ll find a captivating blend of sophisticated contemporary design and antique accents. The living room charms with its warm-toned sofas, a working fireplace, and French doors that open onto the dreamy terrace. This room leads onto a lovely dining space, set beneath wooden beams, where you can share meals whipped up in the bright and airy white kitchen. This modern space benefits from a large, seated island - the perfect spot to share a bottle of the estate wine as you prepare supper.
On the upper level of the main villa, there are three elegantly styled ensuite bedrooms, each with a snug double bed. Two of the ensuite bathrooms offer a deep soak tub and an overhead shower, and one features a walk-in waterfall shower. There is a fourth bedroom with a double bed in the annexe, which also houses an immaculately presented bathroom with a rainfall shower.
