A picture-book perfect London townhouse, with living space across four floors, this is a home for those whose tastes run towards the refined. There are four beautiful bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a roof terrace for that all-important pre dinner drink.

The new aristocracy

Your hosts are a cosmopolitan pairing. He’s a German architect with his own production company. She’s half French, and has lived in New York and Paris. In Albion Street, American luxury, German functionality and French romance come together to create a home that’s very special indeed.

Elegant, swellegant

With all of its original features still very much intact, we may be well into the new millennium, but you won’t forget Albion Street’s Georgian past. There are fireplaces in almost every room, high ceilings clad in the most delicate of cornices, original windows and wooden floors.

Downstairs there’s a warm family room and a modern kitchen. If you need a little peace and quiet, head up to the sitting room/ study, or banish the kids to the top floor; with two bedrooms, a bathroom and heaps of toys and books, they’ll be busy for hours. In the meantime, you might wish to retreat to the spacious master bedroom, with its own en suite, or head out to the spectacular roof terrace. Whether you’re worshipping the sun or seeing stars, this is time to treasure.

Border crossing

Albion Street boasts a stunning location. You’re a five minute walk from Oxford Street, with its world class shops, and, tucked behind Selfridges, a continental tangle of streets boasting a wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants. Or, why not head over the road to Hyde Park and take a turn about the Serpentine? If you need to head further afield, you’re already in the centre of town, so you can be wherever you need to in almost no time at all.

Home truths

This is a well-loved family home with signs of wear and tear.

The bed in the second bedroom can be set up as a single or a double bed. Please let us know when you book how would like it prepared.

The sofa bed in the fourth bedroom can accommodate one additional guest.

This home accepts babies and children over the age of four, but does not accept toddlers.

There will be a £1,500 pre-authorisation processed as a security deposit for bookings in this home.

This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
