Your hostess was born in Montmartre, and in this fourth-floor home she’s returned to her creative roots. Immediately after you enter you’ll pass the bathroom, then up a flight of stairs the sitting room is comfortable with Eames chairs and 19th-century century beams in arty juxtaposition. Taking pride of place here is the piano, a gift for your host’s fifth birthday, and the shelves hold a treasured library. The sofa transforms into a double bed, and doors open out onto the balcony where there’s space for two (just about).
Back through the hallway is the master bedroom, with its cylindrical bedside tables and lamps resembling upturned beakers. Evocative signage decorates the glossy units in the kitchen next door, and the second bedroom is at the end of the corridor. With a single bed, colourful art and exhilarating books, this room reverberates with the joy of a life well-lived.
There are stairs up to the entrance, and no elevator.
The bathroom must be accessed via the home stairs.
The hanging space in the master bedroom and the single bedroom is a hanging rail not a wardrobe.
This home doesn't have air-conditioning, but please ask us if you'd like to have fans during your stay.
This home is spread over two floors with no internal elevator.
The curtains in the master bedroom do not completely block out daylight.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
