Fluidity marks Cooper Terrace, a walk-up with views of Cooper Square. The first level of this duplex home is open and airy – a pair of curving sofas and a swoop-backed chair are the focal points of the living room, which you’ll enter into once you’ve found the well-disguised door at street level and headed up this building’s stairs. There's plenty of room in the kitchen to the left of this space, where the dining table and kitchen island match in granite. To the left of the kitchen a door leads out onto the terrace, and there’s a bathroom immediately left of the front door.

Up the stairs you'll find the second bedroom straight ahead, the master down the hall to the right and a shared granite-and-marble bathroom to the left. The bunk-bed room has a pretty view of St Mark’s Place (best seen from the upper-most bunk, of course). And the master bedroom offers much to admire – the fireplace is ornamental, and there’s a TV on its mantle for lazier days.

Home truths

This home is a second floor walk-up with no elevator.

While there is no wardrobe in the master bedroom, guests will find hanging space in the hall closet just outside the room.

This home has air-conditioning in the sitting room and all bedrooms.

While babies under one and children over six are very welcome, parents should note that this home is not suitable for toddlers.

Since the onefinestay photo shoot, the second bedroom bunk beds have been updated. It is still a bunk bed, but the lower bunk is now a single-sized bed which can comfortably sleep one adult. We'll be taking new photographs soon.

The TV in the second bedroom is not currently in use.

Street noise from the busy neighborhood can be heard from inside the home and is especially noticeable in the sitting room and kitchen.

Guests may find that this much loved home is a bit worn in a few places.


Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
