Home sweet home Sugarloaf Loft is an industrially inspired Tribeca home. You enter straight into an open-plan living area with whitewashed brick walls, sash windows and soft-grey wood floors. At the near end is the second sitting room (furnished with a fur-draped bench and two silver-and-white armchairs), which adjoins the kitchen. Fitted with a glossy breakfast bar, it opens onto a dining area with a white table for six. Beyond that there’s the main sitting room. With its dark velvet sofas, mirrored side tables and eclectic accessories (the embroidered kimono is especially eye-catching), this space is truly elegant. You’ll then find the bathroom, the second bedroom – simple, but for a sumptuous armchair – and, a little further along, the master bedroom. This final room has an antique bed for a centrepiece, plus an en-suite bathroom with both a claw-footed bathtub and a shower.
