Vestry Loft is industrially inspired and open – with dark wooden furnishings, moody copper light fixtures and exposed brick walls. The open kitchen and dining area are clad in rich floorboards (reclaimed from a barn) and stainless steel appliances. There are also a number of hi-tech touches, like the integrated music system and the infinity pool on the roof – a rarity in New York. Past the kitchen, you’ll come to a laid-back office space and the second bedroom, where there’s a king-size four poster bed and an ensuite. Either set of stairs takes you to the second floor. Here you'll find another stylish office with a spiral staircase that leads to the upper terrace.

To the right is a small sitting room followed by the master bedroom and a gorgeous ensuite. Also on this floor are the third bedroom (with a sofabed and an ensuite) and a toilet room. From here, you’ll find an art-filled second sitting room with French doors that open onto another terrace.

Home truths

This loft spans over four floors with no internal elevator. The elevator opens at the seventh floor onto the open-plan living space. The sitting room, kitchen, office, office ensuite, toilet room, guest bedroom and guest bedroom ensuite are located on this floor. The master bedroom, master ensuite, sofa bedroom, sofa bedroom ensuite, office, toilet room and second sitting room are located on the second floor. The terrace with grill and wet bar is accessed via the second sitting room on the eighth floor, and one level above is the second terrace featuring another wet bar, infinity pool and toilet room.

Please note the infinity pool can not be used during the late fall and winter season.

This home features a private elevator vestibule, which serves as a guest entrance from the building ground floor directly to the terrace located on the eighth floor.

The property manager and gardener will come around to look after the plants and pool on the rooftop terrace between 12PM and 3PM on Mondays, and 10AM and 2PM on Thursdays. They will both use the private eighth floor entrance to disturb you as little as possible.

Due to the home's proximity to the Holland Tunnel, honking can be heard from indoors and outdoors throughout the day.

There is a sofabed in the third bedroom that can be set up for two. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.

The fireplaces in this home are purely decorative.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
