Close to the bustling bars of Caledonian Road, this Islington home is both composed and cosy. Stepping into the home (on the first floor), you’ll come to the master bedroom, which has a double bed and is strikingly decorated in black and white, but prettified by printed curtains and a shapely antique dresser. Beside that you’ll find the second bedroom – a characterful room with a single and a trundle bed, two bookcases and a blue corner sofa, over which hangs a world map triptych.

Then upstairs there’s the bathroom (tiled in dark green and cream, with a bath and an integrated shower) and the open-plan living area. At the near end there’s a sofa and, beneath the shuttered windows, a wooden dining table set with benches. And at the far end there’s a working fireplace, flanked by armchairs, and a little terracotta-and-white kitchen.

Home truths

The stairs in this home are well worn.

There is no wardrobe in the second bedroom so we will provide a hanging rail for storage.

The bed in the second bedroom can be set up either as a single or as a double as a trundle bed. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.

The fireplace in the second bedroom is ornamental but you can use the one in the sitting room.

This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

Some noise from the near by vibrant area can be heard from inside the home.

This home is spread over two floors with no internal elevator.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
