This home is the perfect escape, with its round-the-world approach to decor and original Victorian features. Tennis might be Wimbledon’s most famous export, but it’s got a whole lot more to offer than that. Check out the nearby Wimbledon Museum for 3000 years of local history, or mooch in the impossibly picturesque Wimbledon Village, where coffee shops and boutiques abound. Back in the harmony of home, strike a yoga pose on the Aztec rug, or take a travel book from the brimming shelves and curl up on the plush corner sofa.

Your hosts are a young couple who have lived together at Broadway Court for nine months. She’s a yoga teacher and she’s a barrister, he's a management consultant and musician. Keep an eye out for her homegrown strawberries, and his musical instruments. When they’re not relaxing at home, they’re off indulging their wanderlust in far flung destinations around the world.

In harmony

Indulge your escapism in the open plan sitting and dining room, as you trace your fingers across the free-edge, mango tree table, which harks all the way from Thailand. The deep lounge suite can be your hankered-after hammock. Dark wood flooring takes you to the kitchen where culinary delights are waiting. In the grey slate bathroom, relax with a chai tea, or preen yourself at the double basin. When bedtime beckons, choose the single bedroom-come-study, or spread out on the master bedroom’s super king sized bed.

World’s apart

Womble free in the world of Wimbledon. This friendly corner of South West London is rife with suburban delights, so take a walk on the common or catch a show at the New Wimbledon Theatre, before grabbing a bite at the Lawn Bistro. If it’s bright lights you’re after, reach Oxford Circus in 35 minutes on train or tube from Wimbledon Station, just a couple of minutes away.

Home truths

This home is above the hustle and bustle, and the entrance is in an access alley behind the high street.

This home is on the second floor of a building, there are a few flights of steep external stairs leading to the front door which makes this home less suitable for elderly guests or those with pushchairs.

There are storage drawers in the single bedroom and no hanging space, but there's loads to share in the master.

This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

This home is spread over two floors with no elevator.

There are stairs up to the entrance of this home, and no elevator.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
