In West 112th Townhouse, there’s plenty of space within which to get lost – its airy rooms bound by elegant exposed brick walls, and woven together with carved wooden staircases. The slick kitchen and contemporary furnishings are delightfully modern, and bright artworks and bulging book shelves are an unexpected twist against a pared-back palette. There are lively bars and cafés close by, and located just blocks away from both Central and Morningside Parks, this home is well-positioned for adventure, too.
Between the lines
Your hosts are an artistic family who love the simple pleasures of reading, drawing and spending time together. And when not enjoying game nights or home-cooked meals in their playful townhouse, they can be found at one of the neighbourhood’s nearby parks.
Warm woods and muted hues greet you in the polished dining room set for eight – dine here beneath the pastoral canvas, or leaf past into the open-plan kitchen. There’s intrigue at every turn, whether you glance up to behold the lofty staircases and exposed beams, lit by strips of neon, or look instead to the tall windows with their view onto the backyard’s deck. Upstairs there’s a trilogy of bright bedrooms, each with shelves of books and walls of art. And though the playful hues of the bathroom’s tiles are captivating, we think the master bedroom – with its low-slung king bed and rich red rug – might be worth the longest glance.
This home spans over four floors with no elevator. Guests enter on the second floor and will find the living room, kitchen, dining room, and powder room. The twin bedroom, sofabed room, and bathroom are located on the third floor. The master bedroom and bathroom are located on the fourth floor.
While babies, toddlers and children are very welcome, parents should note that this home is not childproof.
This home comfortably sleeps four adults, with an additional double sofabed in sofabed room and single trundle bed in the twin bedroom that can be made up upon request bringing the maximum occupancy to seven.
While there is no wardrobe in the sofabed room, guests will be provided a hanging rail for their use.
This home features a private deck and shared backyard.
While this home does not feature cable, guests will find an Apple TV device for their use.
The minimum stay length for this home is six nights.
This home has air-conditioning in the sitting room and all bedrooms.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
