Cool contrast Near designer boutiques on one side and St Peter’s Square on the other, it’s no surprise Via dei Banchi Vecchi is so diverse. To the left of the entrance hallway, rustic ceiling beams overlook the large sitting room, which has an upright piano and a vibrantly patterned rug. Four can dine at the ghost-chaired dining table (under cone-shaped pendants) and through a yellow-framed door on the left, there’s a traditional dining table and contemporary breakfast bar in the eclectic kitchen. The office, which has a pink sofabed and pops of lime-green, is on the left of the entrance hallway, and further along you’ll come to the marbled bathroom. At the end, the master bedroom has some style surprises too. Eastern bedside tables and a propped umbrella surround the queen-size bed, and there’s pastoral artwork in the neutral ensuite.
