With its collage of old and new furnishings and a carefully curated blend of patterns and textures, it's obvious that the owner of Carlingford Road III is an interior designer. Reflecting Hampstead's abundance of nature, the home features a soothing palette of charcoal greys and sage greens throughout. Carlingford Road III’s eclectic aesthetic takes its inspiration from the owner’s connection to the local area and is most evident throughout the entrance level, which comprises a cosy sitting room and a lovely light-filled open-plan kitchen and dining room, complete with a working fireplace. Here, you’ll find a mix of comfy furnishings - such as an antique long chair that has been given a new lease of life - shaggy rugs, vibrant wallpaper and an array of books and quirky accessories - our favourite being the 18th-century Spanish gilded bronze mirror with quadrant opening doors. Beyond the bright and airy conservatory is a small garden, ideal for balmy summer evenings spent with loved ones. Upstairs, the three bedrooms and two bathrooms are somewhat more minimal in style, yet still rich in character, with the master bedroom featuring a standout open plan ensuite bathroom with a roll-top bathtub. Sandwiched between the wide-open spaces of Hampstead Heath and Hampstead High Street, with the Underground station and its collection of shops and restaurants nearby, this is a lovely neighbourhood home, perfect for families or groups of friends alike.

  • This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

  • The homeowners' housekeeper will visit on Wednesday mornings at 11am for about an hour.

Policies

  • Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here.

  • Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

  • I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

  • Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

  • Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
