Chevening Road V’s hushed palette and comfy furnishings make this a calm spot. Turn right at the entrance and you’ll find the sitting room, which has white walls, an upright piano and a corner sofa facing a working fireplace. There’s a curvy breakfast bar in the kitchen, on the left, and just beyond is the dining table for eight. A pair of cream sofas face one another over a cowhide rug, and the long, lawned garden is through a set of sliding glass doors.
Up the stairs and straight ahead is the pastel-pink second bedroom, which has a double bed. Heading clockwise, you’ll reach the fourth bedroom (with white walls and a single bed), then the wood-panelled bathroom. There’s another double bedroom further up, and beyond, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and a wide bay window.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
The fireplaces in the bedrooms are ornamental but you can use the one in the sitting room.
There is no wardrobe in the second, third and fourth bedrooms so we will provide a hanging rail for storage.
One loveable cat lives at this home. He won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.
This home is spread over two floors with no internal elevator.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
