Tall windows, charming ornaments, a neutral palette – Chalon Road is a soothing spot. Inside, you’ll come first to the sitting room – pale-painted, with poised furniture and many artworks. Doors open onto a lawned garden with a fountain and places to dine. To the right here is the smart kitchen, off which there’s a second sitting room full of stylish seats. Next, to the left of the entrance, you’ll find a hallway that leads along to two bedrooms (the soft-coloured second and fourth bedrooms) and a bathroom. Also here is the third, more colourful sitting room, which adjoins both a bathroom and the fitness room.

Upstairs, the hallway takes you first to the third bedroom (with a double bed) and a pretty bathroom, and finally to the master bedroom. It’s subtly decorated in whites, creams and golds, and has a super king bed and a lavish ensuite bathroom.

Home truths

Two loveable dogs live in this home. They won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.

The homeowner's cleaner will visit on Mondays and Fridays at 10am until 3pm. She has a key to let herself into the home.

The fireplace in the sitting room is ornamental, but you can use the one in the second sitting room and master bedroom.

The bed in the fourth bedroom is a double Murphy bed.

There is ample street parking at this home.

This home is spread over multiple floors with no internal elevator.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
