Nowhere could the proverbial grass be greener, or the walls whiter, than at Rue de Chantilly. Here, quintessentially Parisian foundations – parquet flooring and French windows opening onto Juliet balconies – are brought into bold focus with the unique details added by your hosts. The black leather sofa and crisp white dining chairs of the airy sitting room are punctuated with a bold flash of red from two iconic egg chairs, while the gilt mirror harks back to the grand Haussmanian origins of this historic building.
A keen eye
Originally from Brittany, your hosts and their three bilingual children divide their time between either side of the Channel. He has a love of design, she has a fondness for sport, and together they nurture a passion for travel.
Cerise curtains, Union Jack artwork, stained glass – the muted walls of Rue de Chantilly are splashed with fun. You’ll find further playful touches in the form of bunk beds, books, and even a curtained hatch between two bedrooms. And while the little ones play, there’s plenty of space for you to spread out – in the airy bathroom, modern kitchen and chic master bedroom. The daily market on the Rue des Martyrs is a ten-minute walk away – here you’ll find plenty of authentic Parisian cuisine. Or stay at home and marvel the authentic Parisian view from the apartment’s sweet Juliet balconies.
There is a trundle bed in the purple bedroom where one additional guest can sleep. Please let our reservations team know if you need this set up for your stay.
The top mattress of the purple bedroom bunk bed is a double mattress.
Please be aware that you have to climb across the top bunk to get to the single bed in the white bedroom.
The bed on the mezzanine of the white bedroom is a small double bed but we suggest a maximum of one guest should sleep there.
Please be aware that the neighbours of the apartment below and above are pianists and that you can hear them playing during day time.
