A short walk from Shakespeare’s Globe, Clink Wharf is dramatic in several ways. The host is a theatre designer and the interesting visuals begin in the open-plan living space, straight ahead of the entrance. A white linen sofa is positioned on a chequerboard rug, and the balcony (beyond double doors) looks right over the Thames. To the right of the kitchen is the book-lined office with a sofabed, which can be closed off behind rotating glass panels for additional privacy.
This home’s building was once a pineapple warehouse. Tucked to the left of the entrance, between the bare brick walls and large panelled windows, are two hidden doors. The first leads to the bathroom, the second to the bedroom – it has a chequered suede headboard, raw concrete walls and a stone-tiled ensuite. The show never stops on the South Bank, which is just outside, home to the Tate Modern and the National Theatre.
This home is near a railway line, and some noise may be audible.
The dishwasher in this home is currently not in use.
The partition between the office area and the main living area is currently not in use.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
