Once a members’ club within a Norwegian embassy, Cockspur Street’s walls have seen it all – from gentlemen taking whisky, to attachés taking shelter during the Blitz. And it hasn’t lost a jot of its elegance. Hefty beams overlook modern upholstery, oak panelling is hung with nature-inspired paintings, and the books contain a collection of English wit. And no matter the era, you couldn’t be better located for the sights and sounds of iconic Trafalgar Square, just two minutes' walk from your doorstep. Wisdom holders Your hosts love how close they are to one of the city's most visited squares, and are keen students of their home’s intriguing past. And they’ve done an especially fine job of preserving the old while introducing the new. Current affairs Though you can spy Admiral Nelson from the sitting room’s window, this home’s marvellous panelled walls, soaring beams and stone fireplace will draw your gaze firmly inside. The contemporary mustard-hued chairs in the sitting room invite you to indulge in discussion, or follow the panelling to the master bedroom, with its modern art and stately red sofa. And while there’s a strong sense of history here, the bathrooms with walk-in showers and marbled walls could hardly be more up-to-date.

The flat is supper clean and efficient. All the appliances were in top condition and the app was very helpful. Appreciate the fine quality of bed linen and luxury towels.   • Both of the bedrooms in this home are equipped with ceiling fans and air purifiers. There is also an air purifier in the sitting room.

  • This home's central location means you may be able to hear a certain level of noise inside. However, the home is on the fifth floor and both of the bedrooms have very effective soundproofed windows.

  • There is currently construction work taking place in a neighbouring home. One of the buildings is currently being demolished as part of a two-year renovation.


  • Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here.

  • Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

  • I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

  • Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

  • Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
