Star quality Theatre brought your hosts together, when he was freelance directing and she was studying to be a theatre designer. Well-framed The charming sitting room is filled with wooden antiques and well-stocked bookshelves, and shuttered windows frame views of the leafy streets. You’ve access out to the garden from here, or climb the stairs to the master bedroom, which has its own balcony. There are a further four bedrooms, each with soothing hues and stripped floorboards, and the bathrooms range from the wood-framed bathtub to the decadent wet-room shower.
