Set at an angle to the rest of Manhattan, the West Village is an apt location for Scott Terrace. Straight ahead of the entrance, the second bedroom has propped art and a single four-poster bed, and to the right you’ll come to the large living area. Round-backed chairs sit around a circular dining table, and there’s another rectangular table opposite. There’s a curved chair in front of a window of the same shape, while patterned cushions add colour to the corner sofa.

The open-plan kitchen has a breakfast bar for four, and at the opposite end of the living space you’ll find the decked terrace with scenic views. Feature wallpaper lines the main staircase, which leads up to the bedrooms. Palm-tree murals and a foosball table catch the eye in the third bedroom (with a bunk bed), and past the marbled bathroom, there’s a neutral ensuite and king-size four-poster bed in the master bedroom.

Home truths

The walls in this home show some signs of wear.

The fireplace in this home is ornamental.

The curtains in the master bedroom do not completely block out daylight.

There is no wardrobe in the second bedroom so we will provide a hanging rail for storage.

The bunk bed in the third bedroom will comfortably sleep one adult on the bottom single, and has room for a further one adult on the top bunk.

This home accepts babies and children over four years old, but does not accept toddlers.

This home has air-conditioning in the sitting room and all bedrooms.

The wifi speed in this home supports high usage for 3-4 users at a time. This includes basic functions plus more than one high-demand application running at the same time.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
