Charming past

St. John’s Place is full of vintage treasures, with well-worn floorboards topped with colourful rugs running through the home. You’ll find a number of lamps (hanging, standing and sitting) and unusual wall decorations (a piece of wood, plates and posters) – and a trapeze hanging in the sitting area that invites you to discover the home from a different angle. The open kitchen is at the opposite end of the room, with a breakfast bar and three bar stools.

The home’s five bedrooms are all delightfully decorated, and the master bedroom (with its king-size bed) is an especially charming space with its ornamental fireplace underneath an eye-catching antler, and a wooden ladder holding a book collection. The three bathrooms (one on each floor) are all tiled in white.

Home truths

This home spans over four floors. The study, and master bedroom and bathroom are located on the second floor. The queen and bunk bedrooms are located on the third floor. The double and single bedrooms are located on the fourth floor.

While the wardrobes in the queen and double bedrooms are unavailable, guests will be provided with a hanging rail for their use.

This home has air-conditioning in the office, sitting room, kitchen and all bedrooms.

This home comfortably sleeps eight adults, with a twin trundle bed in the fourth bedroom, and an additional twin airbed can be set up in any of the rooms or the office upon request bringing the maximum occupancy to 10.

Since the time of the photoshoot, some of the furniture has been updated. The fourth bedroom now features a twin trundle bed instead of the bunk beds shown in the photos.

The minimum stay length for this home is three nights.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
