West 11th Townhouse is a home of grand proportions, spread over three floors in Greenwich Village. Entering through the private garden (where Grecian statues stand among the plants) you’ll arrive in the open-plan living, kitchen and dining space. There's a large table for six next to the kitchen’s breakfast island, and a wide-screen TV by the comfy seating area. Upstairs on the first floor (traditionally known as the ‘parlor floor)’ is the main sitting room. Built to make an impression on visitors, it still does: ornate gold-framed artwork, vast rugs and elegant antiques fill the room. There’s one bedroom (queen) and ensuite next door, where windows overlook the leafy patio garden.

The fourth queen bedroom and ensuite are down at the garden level, and the other sleeping quarters are on the top floor. First, the master bedroom has a sofa for reading and an ornamental fireplace, and a small nook leads to a peaceful office. And the final bedroom (another queen) is next door – almost self-contained with a separate entrance, its own refrigerator, microwave and breakfast table.

Home truths

The mattress in the third bedroom is pictured with bed risers, but they will be removed prior to your stay.

During the winter, the homeowner's handyman will visit every second week to service the boiler and has a key to let himself into the basement through the home.

This home has air-conditioning in the sitting rooms and all bedrooms.

There is space for a single airbed, crib or play pen in the office if you need extra sleeping space for your stay. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.

The fireplaces in this home are ornamental.

There is currently intermittent construction work taking place next door, which can occasionally be heard from inside the home. The work sometimes starts as early as 7:30am.

This home has a chairlift on the stairwell connecting the garden and parlor levels, which is not pictured. We'll be taking photographs soon.

This home has a communal heating system which is set by the building management company.


Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
