Your host is an Italian who followed the Marco Polo route to New York, after previously living in Hong Kong. When she sits beneath the slatted pergola in her garden, it’s almost as though she’s back home under the European sun.

Renaissance manor

The romantic air of a secluded villa fills the open-plan living space, with two plush seating areas anchored by a tufted ottoman and antique glass-top table. And just beyond is the inviting kitchen, its stainless steel appliances and butcher-block island with mismatched stools overlooked by a wooden dining set.

A carved Indonesian day bed awaits in the vined garden, as well as additional distressed wooden seating ideal for a morning macchiato. And while the single bedroom is laidback, accented with vintage car models, the slate-grey master bedroom with its Louis XV armchairs and decadent king bed offers indulgent repose after a revitalising soak in the ensuite tub

This home comfortably sleeps three adults, with an additional sofabed in the twin bedroom bringing the maximum occupancy to four.

This home has air-conditioning in the sitting room and all bedrooms.

This townhouse is home to one lovable dog. While he won't be in residence during guest stays, this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.

While this home features a washing machine, guests should note that there is no dryer.

While the hall bathroom on the second floor features a handheld shower head with no wall mount, guests will find a mounted shower head in the master ensuite.

Guests should note that the wifi can be a bit spotty in kitchen and garden of this home.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
