This Bayswater home marries period detail with contemporary cool. You enter on the first floor, into a hallway that leads first to the sitting room. It’s a striking space, with high, corniced ceilings, panelled walls and wood floors. To one side there’s a sitting area, where two clean-cut sofas face each other across a coffee table. The dining area is opposite, its glossy black table set with ghost chairs. Through the window at the far end here is the balcony which has topiary trees and a table for two.
Back out in the hallway, you’ll come next to the black-and-white kitchen. Then further along there’s a toilet room and, finally, the master bedroom. Decorated in soft, subtle colours (with one pretty painting and pink-printed drapes), it has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a roll-top bath and a shower.
The fireplace in this home is ornamental.
This home is on the first floor of an apartment building with an elevator.
This home accepts babies, but does not accept toddlers and children.
This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
The wifi signal is weak in the bedrooms, but stronger closer to the router which is located in the sitting room.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
