Good old days This Prospect Heights home is thoroughly thought out. You enter into the sitting room, which has corniced ceilings, gold-patterned wallpaper and an ornamental fireplace. Here you’ll find plenty of sumptuously upholstered seats, and the same goes for gilt-edged artworks. Walking through the galley kitchen on the left side of the room, you’ll come to the dining room. It’s elaborately papered in blue, and has a glossy wooden dining table to seat four. From there, the space leads to a bathroom (classic, with a bath and an integrated shower) and the master bedroom. The latter has a queen-size bed, at the foot of which stand two plump armchairs and several well-stocked bookshelves, and opens onto the rambling garden. Beneath it, you’ll find the second sitting room, a book-lined space with a red Chesterfield sofa. Lastly, there’s the adjoining second bedroom (with a double bed) and its en-suite bathroom.
