Lake poet Round the corner from where DH Lawrence once lived, Heath Villas has one of London’s most poetic views – over a Hampstead Heath lake. The front door leads into the colourful retro sitting room, and straight ahead you’ll find the first of two terraces and a bathroom. Six can dine in the second sitting room downstairs, and next door, the kitchen has a skylight and an aqua-blue splashback. The second terrace – overlooking the lake – is off the first-floor landing. Also on the first floor you’ll find the master bedroom. A vintage trunk sits at the foot of the king-size bed, and there are twin sinks in the ensuite. Up again, the third and fourth bedrooms are on the right, and then the marbled bathroom. And from the second bedroom (with a king-size bed), there’s a picturesque view from the second terrace.
