Talent for texture Shag carpets and silky suede couches, rough-cracked paintings and brushed steel. These are the textures that make up Chelsea Lookout, a two bedroom home. Add the lovely urban view – the Freedom Tower, Statue of Liberty, and the Highline – and it’s a winning pattern. In the living room, a cosy collection of cream couches, tiffany-blue chairs, and a faux fur bean bag chair make a comfy space from where you can admire the view. Behind the couch, a quartet of leather chairs surround the glass-and-chrome dining table, and the kitchen, at the far wall, has a lacquered red breakfast bar. Back down the hall, you'll first come to the colourful guest bedroom, which is decorated with pop art and children's books and toys. A double Murphy bed extends down from the wall. The master bedroom is bold with dark wood, a king bed and a desk. The master ensuite has a shower, and you'll find a bathtub just down the hall in the second bathroom.
