A leafy Chiswick street leads to this distinctive Victorian home, which you’ll enter on the ground floor. Here you’ll find a toilet room, the sitting room (classic, but with exotically printed rugs and cushions, a reflection of the host’s love of travel) and the open-plan kitchen and dining room. This space has another snug sitting area at the one end (where you’ll find a grand piano), and a spick-and-span kitchen with a bold dining table at the other. Beyond that, wide windows look onto the rambling garden.
Further on, there’s a bathroom, and on the first floor there’s a double bedroom and the master bedroom –with prettily mismatched soft furnishings and a stone-tiled ensuite bathroom. On the next floor there’s a soft-green bedroom and a bathroom, and above that (on the third floor), you’ll come to the final bathroom and a further two single bedrooms, both as characterful as the rest.
The beds in the second bedroom can be made up as two singles or as one super king size bed.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
