A prettily palatable home, here the walls are tinted dove grey and slate blue, and piped with a sugar-white trim. Brooklyn Heights too is a feast worth sampling – of immaculate historic architecture, playful parks and sought-after eateries. And this pick-and-mix milieu has imbued Willow Street II, where an erudite palette is tempered by piles of casually stacked books, pretty flowers and a backyard slide. There’s a delicate wicker dining set outside too, and the kitchen is close by should you wish to take in the sun with your supper.
Your hosts are a family who crave travel, sports, art and music. They love to spend sunny days in the garden – whether shooting hoops, or lost in a good tome.
