Full of character There’s much to see inside this lively home in Le Marais. You’ll find the kitchen first on the left – decorated in red and white, with a slick breakfast bar. Then to the right there’s the sitting room, which has ornate ceilings, ornamental fireplaces and long windows. At the near end is a sitting area, where an assortment of sofas and armchairs (both classic and contemporary) sit atop a patterned rug. That gives onto a study area with a desk and another armchair, next door to which you’ll find the main bathroom. The sitting room also adjoins Boulevard Henri IV II’s dining room. A slightly simpler space, it has pale-blue walls lined with paintings, and a wooden table. A second door here takes you out to a hallway, which leads first to the second bedroom, and finally to the master bedroom, with its exotic antiques and ensuite.
