Glass partitions are all that separate the lush outside space from the well-filled bookcases and intelligently designed furniture inside.

A spiral staircase ascends to the solar-panelled rooftop garden, and the sleek kitchen flows from the dining room to the sitting room, and out onto the warm patio. Beyond the garden’s perimeter are natural wonders to marvel – hiking trails and the beach are close by. Though with soft grasses and plants surrounding the sun-dappled woven loungers, you may not want to venture that far.

Your hosts built their careers in entertainment and technology, but the recent remodel of their home made them co-designers, too. They enjoy walking Venice’s creative streets and exploring local eateries with their two children.

Green designs

This home’s ambitious design has featured in numerous titles – both books and magazines – and is a clever mix of intriguing angles and unusual perspectives. You might peer down from the second-floor walkway into the open-plan living room, where an opalescent rug and low-slung fireplace warm the book-shelved walls. And while a tropical mural divides two brilliant single bedrooms, there’s a playful cut-out window for trading secrets. But it’s this home’s eco-elements that make it so special. The recycled water system powering the master suite’s shower and bathtub is to be relished guilt-free, while the queen bedroom’s private balcony is just as wholesome, all natural woods and home-grown plants.

Home truths

There is a double futon in the third bedroom which can sleep one additional guest. Let us know if you'd like this set up for your stay.

The second bedroom has a double bed which can sleep two adults but is more comfortable for one.

This home is usually the stomping grounds of one adorable pooch, and though he will not be home during guest stays, people with severe allergies should be aware!

This home has central air conditioning in the main home. There is a separate air conditioning unit in the fourth bedroom and the master bedroom does not have any air conditioning at all.

This home is not suitable for babies, toddlers or children under 6 years old.

There is space to park one car in front of the home's carport, which is located behind the house. There is also unrestricted street parking around the home.

This home is spread over multiple floors with no internal elevator.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
