Jubilee Place

Chelsea, Central London

Open door policy

One cannot help but admire Jubilee Place. A home of extraordinary quality and refinement, no expense has been spared and no corner has been cut – and the result is quite simply heart-warming. You’ll be enchanted by the hand painted wallpaper, the creamy carpets and the high-tech sound system. And it doesn’t end there, for on the other side of your front door lies glamorous Chelsea. You’re steps away from the gorgeous cafes and boutiques of King’s Road and Sloane Square, and a short walk from Chelsea Physic Garden and the river. Yes, this is a home that just keeps on giving.

Kind heart

Your hostess is a philanthropist with a love of country pursuits. When she’s not in the city, she’s riding horses and tending her beloved plants. She’s embraced everything life has to offer, and you’ll see pictures of her lovely family and friends all around her home.

Generous spirit

It may be close to buzzy King’s Road, but Jubilee Place is whisper-quiet. The sitting room has a wonderful air of calm – from the working gas fire to the hand-carved mirrors to the graceful velvet couch. Around the corner you’ll find a cosy TV room, leading through to the open plan kitchen diner with its surfaces of gleaming granite. By day the dining area is flooded with sunshine from the remote control skylights, by night, the atmosphere becomes more intimate amidst the softest of lamps.

The soothing master suite is on the first floor. The bed is super king-sized, while the wardrobes and curtains ripple with cherry blossom. There’s a particularly large ensuite, with a walk-in shower, bath and his and hers basins, and just along the corridor is the immaculate roof terrace. There are two bedrooms up on the second floor, a silvery double with a king-sized bed, and a more masculine single, which can be laid out as a double or a twin. The shower room is gleaming new, and stocked with a bountiful supply of White Company toiletries and fluffy towels.

Sweet charity

Whether you choose to bestow your precious time upon the restaurants and shops of Chelsea’s King’s Road or nearby Knightsbridge, you’ll be amply rewarded, for this is one of the most exclusive areas in all of London. Then, perhaps you’ll make your way over to the museums, or across to Hyde Park. And if you need to get into town, the tube from South Kensington to Piccadilly Circus takes less than ten minutes.
