Sculpting balance A confluence of green spaces, artistic venues and quiet residential streets come together in the Upper West Side. And balanced between the Lincoln Center and the Museum of Natural History, Greenway Park is a vision of fluid lines and curious art pieces. From the glossy parquet floors and bold geometric rugs, to the wooden sculpture and abstract paintings, each layer of this home has been perfectly composed. And when it’s repose that beckons, head onto the balcony where sun loungers top a magnificently monochrome rug. En pointe Your hosts are lovers of classical music and art, and have filled their home with pieces from across the globe. Their proximity to the Juilliard and the Metropolitan Opera means their social calendar is always full. Equilibrium of form Abstract paintings and sophisticated furnishings ensure Greenway Park is composed for comfort as well as style. A plush leather sofa plays counterpoint to a unique glass coffee table in the living area, while a corner desk looks out over the Hudson. You can get a closer look from the balcony, and the master bedroom too has much to marvel. An exquisite Japanese doll poses in a glass case, and a full wall of mirrors reflects the well-proportioned bed and erudite artwork.
