Tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, this gorgeous two-bedroom retreat lets you leave the world behind and enjoy a slice of well-deserved tranquillity with those who matter the most. In fact, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d arrived at a secret escape atop a tropical Hawaiian mountain. With a quarter acre of garden space, you can really make the most of your peaceful and leafy surroundings - whether you plan on snoozing in the sunshine, tucking into an alfresco feast together, or cooling off in the private swimming pool. Inside, La Cuesta Drive is filled with lots of individual touches. Vibrant artworks, a lovely Yamaha piano, and lots of hand-crafted ceramic pieces, handmade by the owner are just a few of the elements that make this charming house a true home from home. The open-plan sitting room and kitchen space is vast and airy - natural sunlight pours in through the many windows at all hours of the day. Everything is on the same level, which means you’ll find the master bedroom close by; a bright and breezy space boasting a dressing room, ensuite bathroom, a movie projector, and a snuggly king-sized bed. Nearby is the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, as well as the dedicated office space and the home’s other two bathrooms - one of which has a fabulous soaking tub. While this secluded retreat might feel miles away from Los Angeles' lively city streets, it's just a 20-minute drive to The Grove and just under 40 minutes to Santa Monica Pier.

  • This home has an open swimming pool with no fence accessible via the backyard and there are 10+ steps down to it.

  • There are 20+ steps up to entrance of the home. You can also access the home walking up the elevated driveway around the back.

  • One loveable dog lives at the home. They won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.

  • There is a sofa bed in the office which can be set up for one. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.

  • There are external cameras that face the exterior areas of the home.

  • This home has a steep driveway and there are parking spaces available for three cars. There is also a small lot next to the home with two additional parking spaces available.

Policies

  • Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here.

  • Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

  • I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a $1,500 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

  • Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

  • Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
