It’s not just the swimming pool – or the nearby hiking trails and golf course – that make Lorna Lane fit for purpose. Past a gated front garden, the entrance hallway leads to the sitting room on the right, which has a piano and a marbled fireplace. There’s an Art Deco mirror in the master bedroom’s ensuite, next door, and at the end of the hallway, the kitchen is traditional too. A wood-topped breakfast bar seats four, and you’ll find an ottoman that doubles as a drinks platter in the second sitting room.

Eight can eat in the formal dining room, and to the left of the entrance you’ll come to the second and third bedrooms (one with a queen-size bed, the other with a single bed). And through the kitchen’s glass doors, the garden has a swimming pool, barbecue and bar area. There’s also a separate guest house with a bathroom, kitchenette and bedroom (with a double bed).

Home truths

One loveable, hypo-allergenic dog lives in this home. She won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.

This home has an open swimming pool (with no fence) accessible via the back door.

There is a trundle bed in the third bedroom which can be set up for one person. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared.

The fourth bedroom is located in the separate guest house behind the main home. The guest house shows some signs of wear. Please let us know if you would like this set up for your stay.

The fireplace in the separate guest house is ornamental, but you can use the one in the sitting room and second sitting room.

There is ample unrestricted street parking around this home.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
