Rolling back the years

Longbeach Road spans the ages. For adults there’s a muted colour palette of greys, creams and blues, with stained glass and period fireplaces framing a melange of vintage and contemporary furniture. And for children? There are games, books and space to play both inside and out, where an astroturfed lawn makes for all-weather roaming. When the sun shines, Clapham Common’s green and lido are just a street away. Or join the crowds in nearby Lavender Hill’s independent shops and restaurants.

Kith and kin

Your hosts are a family of four who’ve filled Longbeach Road with precious treasures. For the grown-ups, that means leather-bound books and dazzling oil paintings. And for the little ones, it’s a cornucopia of cuddly toys.

Forever home

There’s a rustic atmosphere to the eat-in kitchen – its farmhouse table is brighter for the skylights above, and there’s a view across the scrubbed oak countertop out into the garden.

The sitting room is relaxed: French shutters shade soft sofas and there are two designated areas – one for conversation, and one for entertainment. Up the stairs you’ll discover two single bedrooms with their original fireplaces, while at the top of the house is a pair of tranquil doubles, their floors topped with delicate furnishings.

Home truths

Although the lawn in the back garden is artificial, it looks just as great as real one!

This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.

This is much loved family home and some wear and tear is present.

There is currently construction work taking place down the street during working hours. However, disruption inside the home is minimal.

This home is spread over five floors with no internal elevator.


Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
