On a quiet tree-lined street in a residential pocket of Venice, a bustling, free-spirited neighbourhood to the west of Los Angeles, Marco Place II is a lovely two-bedroom home with a separate one-bedroom guesthouse at the bottom of a lush backyard. Enclosed by tall trees and giant hedges, which offer seclusion and privacy, the garden is also home to a fantastic full-length heated lap pool and a hot tub, perfect for early morning dips or evening cocktails beneath glorious pastel skies. A great getaway for families with adult children or a group of friends, the main house is spread over two levels to include the two bedrooms and one bathroom on the top floor and, at the entrance level, a convivial open-plan kitchen, living room and dining room, great for social gatherings. Here, you'll also find the second bathroom and a dedicated office space for those working from home. Wonderfully inviting, with a relaxed, informal feel, both the main house and the ensuite guesthouse - which comes complete with its own fully-equipped kitchen - are simply decorated in muted blue-grey hues with classic details and warm textures, including crisp white linen sofas, standout rugs, mid-century inspired furnishings and thoughtful artwork, throughout. Enjoy sunny barbecue days on the cosy terrace or if you'd like to head out for more action, Abbot Kinney - a palm-tree lined strip packed with boutiques, restaurants and galleries - is a quick 15-minute stride away and the buzz of Venice Beach is just five-minutes by car.

The house was perfect for our family getaway. It was cozy, well-appointed, with very comfortable beds - all located in a great neighborhood with good food, and cool shops. We could even walk places (very un-LA but exactly what we like). And the pool and spa got a lot of use! Couldn't ask for anything more.

  • This home has a long lap saltwater swimming pool that is 4 feet deep, 7 feet wide and 40 feet long with no fence accessible via the side doors.

  • The pool is set to a comfortable 82 degrees and is not adjustable. If you would like it warmer than that, please enquire about the extra fee before booking.

  • This home does not feature Cable TV, instead there is Apple TV to access streaming services.

  • One loveable dog lives at this home. He won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.

  • This home does not accept babies, toddlers or children.

  • There is space for two cars in the driveway of the home and unrestricted street parking in front of the home.

  • The 3rd bedroom is located in the detached separate guest house.

  • This home has external security cameras at the entrances of the home.


  • Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here.

  • Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

  • I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a $1,500 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

  • Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

  • Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

  • Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
