Sleek simplicity In Clerkenwell – a cool corner of the city – Myddelton Square fits right in. You enter on the ground floor, where a staircase leads up to the open-plan living area – a grey-and-white room with long sash windows. It has a charcoal corner sofa, opposite which, between two well-stocked bookshelves, you’ll find a chic dining table for four. There’s also a kitchen here, with smart white units, glossy dark countertops and a little breakfast bar. Then on the next floor up there’s a bathroom (elegantly decorated in teal, grey and white) and the master bedroom. The latter is white-painted, with a simple queen-size bed, and a few lively details – cherry-red curtains, a turquoise abstract artwork. Above it you’ll come to another bathroom and a similarly understated second bedroom, which has a double bed.
