Where the heart is

Step into the spacious sitting room and admire the wooden floor and antique furniture, which glint under the spot-lit ceiling. While you soak up the earth tones and worldly décor, take a book from the breath-taking collection which lines the shelves, and curl up on the deep, taupe sofa, or sit at the desk in the light of French doors which open onto the decked roof terrace. Downstairs, rustle something up in the chrome kitchen, complete with modern appliances, and enjoy a tasty treat in the adjoining dining room. The downstairs shower room, meanwhile, shimmers with mosaic walls and a spa-like ambience.

Once refreshed, skip upstairs to the enormous master suite, which is light and sophisticated in neutral tones, and effortlessly breezy with two large skylights. A king-sized bed and free-standing, roll-top bath add a touch of decadence, so get your fluffy robe on and get reclining. There’s also an adjacent sea-blue shower room where further indulgence is called for.

With its rows upon rows and period properties, peppered with quaint eateries and boutiques, Chalk Farm has a community spirit, as well as an enviable proximity to Central London. Enjoy the array of green spaces, from Hampstead Heath to Regents Park, which are both within walking distance, or sidle down to the alternative shopping mecca of Camden. Get to Oxford Street in just ten minutes via the nearby tube stop.

Home truths

This is a well loved home which shows some signs of wear and tear.

There is a microwave in this home, only the 1 minute button and the start button work.

There is currently no hanging space in the master bedroom, so a hanging rail will be provided for your stay.

If there are more than two in your party and two people do not want to share a bed, please do let us know as we have to ask your host's permission to use the sofa bed in the sitting room.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
