The sitting room's two sides display both the legacy and the modern. The children's table and chairs sit before a canary yellow stash of craft supplies, while opposite are herringbone, grey wool sofas and a sleek, glass coffee table.

In front of the wrought iron fireplace might be the best spot to entertain – perhaps with an Old Fashioned mixed at the mini bar – while those who prefer their own company might head to the bathroom, its reclaimed floral floor tiles best enjoyed from the tub.

Home truths

This home spans over three floors with no elevator. Guests enter on the first floor and will find the living room and kitchen. The master bedroom, master bathroom, and sofabed room are located on the second floor. The double bedroom, single bedroom, bunk bedroom, and third floor bathroom are located on the third floor.

Since we photographed this home, the homeowners have replaced the bed in the master bedroom with a king-sized bed. They have also added a Peloton exercise bike to their home which guests are welcome to use.

This home has air-conditioning in all bedrooms only.

While children are very welcome, this home is not suitable for babies or toddlers.

While there is no wardrobe in the sofabed room, guests will be provided with a hanging rail for their use.

This home comfortably sleeps six adults, with an additional double sofabed and a raised single bed in the bunk bedroom that can be made up upon request bringing the maximum occupancy to nine.

This home features a shared backyard.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
