Bright and bold
With colourful and contemporary furnishings, this Highgate home is bright and lively. Inside you’ll come first to the sitting room, where a sofa and two purple armchairs surround a vivid geometric rug. This space adjoins the dining room, which has a wooden table (set with ten chic chairs) and a little balcony. From there, a stairway leads to the kitchen – a smart space with steps down to the third sitting room. This room has a corner sofa, a cowhide rug and a flatscreen television, and opens onto the garden.
Upstairs, you’ll find the classic second bedroom and a bathroom. There’s also the second sitting room, which has a turquoise sofabed and many contemporary artworks. Then up one floor there’s the third bedroom (simple, with a few pops of colour), and up another is the master bedroom. It’s pale-painted, with copper lamps and more cool canvases, and has a sleek ensuite bathroom.
One lovable dog lives at this home. He won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.
There is limited phone reception inside this home.
The fireplaces in this home are ornamental.
There is a sofabed in the second sitting room which can be set up for two. Please let us know when you book if you would like it prepared. The blinds in this room do not completely block out daylight.
Some traffic noise can be heard from inside the second sitting room.
Muswell Hill's unique elevated position above London means it can experience low water pressure during peak times. The property is equipped with a tank and a water pump in the basement, however using both showers at once may sometimes result in lower than expected water pressure in the top level shower.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
This home is spread over five floors with no internal elevator.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
