Hit the casinos, dance the night away at Annabel’s or Mahiki… this home is right next to Oxford Street, but as peaceful as can be – and should you wish for a nightingale or two, you’re just a moonlit stroll from Berkley Square.
Your host works in the holiday industry, with interests in businesses all around the capital. Come summer, he’s often on the tennis court, dispatching his opponents with one heck of a serve.
Behind closed doors
Elegantly spare, but with enough in the way of fine detailing to leave you in no doubt that you’re in luxury’s lap, North Audley Street is a tremendous home. Like the best cologne, these interiors whisper rather than shout, a wide white sitting room with polished walnut floorboards and an original fireplace, a brand new kitchen opening out onto a bijoux balcony. There are just a few, perfectly chosen antiques, the inlaid dining table and the sitting room’s barley leg chairs, and there’s a selection of glorious coffee table books to peruse. The ensuite bathroom is opulent in white and matt black. And as for the bedroom, well, when a bed is this splendid, one really has no choice but to sleep late and long.
In one of the very best neighbourhoods in town, just moments from Selfridges, Hyde Park and from a headily beautiful garden square, be spoilt for choice. Plunge into the cheerful chaos of Oxford Street, investigate the designer boutiques of Bond Street, or simply stroll in nearby Hyde Park. Whether you like to dance, to drink or to roll the dice, the nightlife here will cater to your every whim. Bond Street station is right next door, but in all honesty, you’re so central that you may not even need the tube.
The building in which the home is located doesn't have a lift. As the home is located on the third floor, guests should be prepared for a climb when arriving.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
This much-loved home shows some signs of wear and tear.
There is currently construction work taking place in the building next door with working hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and occasionally Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm due to be completed in the beginning of April 2018. Some noise can be heard inside the home.
There are stairs up to the entrance of this home, and no elevator.
This home is spread over two floors with no internal elevator.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
