Born in Trinidad, your host is an entrepreneur with interests in everything from beauty salons to events venues. In his spare time, you’ll find him firing down aces on a tennis court.
New in store
With the US embassy one way and Selfridges the other, this is London’s fast-beating heart. But step inside and you might forget. All is calm and collected, starting in the graceful sitting room. Formally furnished, the ceilings are high and the plasterwork sophisticated. Subside into the deep sofa or period armchair with a glass of something cool, or glide over to the window and soak up the busy scene below. The kitchen is shiny in the deepest mahogany, and you’ve a trim table for four.
Elegance enfolds the master bedroom, from the white walls to the tufted headboard and the impressively stylish twin lamps. But before you embrace the crisp linen, indulge yourself in the ensuite. With a shower, roll-top bath and oodles of our White Company toiletries, you’ll want to take your time…
It’s fair to say you won’t be short on things to do, or buy, around here. The boutiques, the restaurants and the cafes start as soon as you get downstairs, while Oxford Street is simply a shopper’s paradise. Dine in Soho, see a show in theatreland or get away from the fray with a picnic in Hyde Park. All are within the shortest of strolls from your front door.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
There is currently construction work taking place in the building next door with working hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and occasionally Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm due to be completed in the beginning of April 2018. Some noise can be heard inside the home.
There are stairs up to the entrance of this home, and no elevator.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
