The sitting room is cosy and rapturously retro, from the blue tufted sofa to the iron pedestal topped by a classical bust. Warm colours are paired with textures, patterns, fabrics, and you’re as likely to meet a designer four-poster as you are a charmingly tiny antique dining table. And it’s just a hop up to the roof terrace, or down to the kaleidoscopic West Village.

Once a professional dancer, your host still practices her favourite moves – be it yoga, watching shows or riding her bike through the city.

Singular vision

All stout brick walls, bright wooden floors and original mouldings, this home is a trip through historic eras. Curious necks will crane at the windows, wall-hung mirrors and eclectic artwork, while the glossy granite fireplace is best appreciated from one of two vintage couches. Sit down at a statement retro dining chair, or turn to the terrace with its wide sweeping views. Of all the unique pieces in this home, the bedroom may have the finest haul, thanks to its striking four-poster, cream-and-floral chaise and swathes of olive green.

This home is a second floor walk up with no elevator.

This home is home to one very lovable dog. Though he won't be in residence during guest stays, this home is not suitable for people with allergies.

This home has air-conditioning in the master bedroom only.

This home comfortably sleeps two adults, with an additional twin airbed that can be made up upon request bringing the maximum occupancy to three.

As this is a much loved and lived in home, guests may find that it is a bit worn in places.

This home features a private roof terrace.

While this home does not feature cable, guests will find Netflix and a DVD player for their use.

The minimum stay length for this home is thirty nights.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
