Tribal-print textiles, delicate palm fronds and carved wooden furniture are among the charms that helped put 10th Street Townhouse on our map. An open-plan living area spans the first floor – a plump sofa and chairs surround a coffee table piled with books and a wooden dining table seats eight. The sleek kitchen is straight ahead and past the stairs to your right, with a generous marble-topped island, and the wall above the bench to its left is decorated with indigenous artwork picked up on your hosts’ travels.

A glass door leads out into the backyard, where there’s a patio with a dining table and grill, and back inside, and upstairs, there’s a trio of bedrooms. The colourful single bedroom is straight ahead, normally occupied by a budding safari leader who's marked a map with his favourite vacation spots. To its left, the queen-size is sunny and quiet, and flashes of yellow and gold enliven the master and its ensuite, directly to your right.

This home comfortably sleeps five adults, with an additional full-size sofabed in the living room and a twin airbed that can be made up upon request in either the living room, twin bedroom or master bedroom bringing the maximum occupancy to eight.

Guests should note that this home features a lovely garden which is not pictured.

This home spans over three floors with no elevator. Guests enter on the garden level and will find the living room, powder room, dining area, kitchen and the garden. The washing machine and dryer are located in the basement. The master bedroom, master ensuite, bathroom, twin bedroom, and queen bedroom are located on the second floor.

Guests should note that some noise may be heard from the nearby subway station.

The minimum stay length for this home is three nights.

Policies

Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
