Bijou beauty Close to South Kensington’s splendid museums, Onslow Gardens XIX is charmingly appointed. You enter into a second-floor hallway, to the right of which is the open-plan living area – a high-ceilinged, cream-painted space with sash windows. At the near end is the sitting area, where a chic sofa and armchairs sit beside an ornate fireplace, which is topped with a contemporary artwork. A little way across from that is a wooden dining table set with antique chairs, and in another corner you’ll spot the smart little kitchen. Back out in the hallway, the final door (on the left) takes you through to the master bedroom. It’s simply decorated – there’s a double bed with a patterned headboard, turquoise lamps and a few bright canvases – and has an ensuite bathroom with a shower.
