Just uphill from the Hollywood Bowl, Oporto Drive is a home to many splendid sights – not least the city below. Stepping through the front door to this 1927 Mediterranean-style home, you’ll find the master bedroom on the right, which has tall windows and an ensuite with a walk-in shower. To the left you’ll find a hallway leading to the king-sized second bedroom, and the third bedroom, with a queen-size bed. The fourth bedroom (with an ensuite) is at the end of the hallway, and downstairs you’ll find the bright yellow office.

Head up to the top floor to find the raftered kitchen, which leads into the third sitting room – the host is a film producer, and there’s a widescreen view of LA through the wraparound picture windows. The dining room is also easy on the eye, with a long wooden table, tiled floor and a beamed ceiling. An archway takes you through to the Spanish-style main sitting room, while the second sitting room has arched windows and a painted wooden floor. Outside, there’s a private back garden which backs onto the Hollywood Bowl parklands. In the garden, you’ll find a chicken coop, a rockery and a patio with a collection of outdoor chairs – including a very picturesque rattan bucket seat, suspended from a tree – an ideal spot to take in the view of the city, ranging from mountaintops to the Pacific Ocean below.

Home truths

You'll have to climb two outdoor staircases to reach the home's front door.

Three loveable dogs live at this home. They won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies.

The outdoor fireplace and fireplace in the third sitting room are ornamental, but you may use the fireplace in the first sitting room.

There is ample unrestricted street parking around this home.

This home is spread over multiple floors with no internal elevator.


Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
