New York is a brilliant swirl of cultures and influences, and in the beating heart of it all you'll find this eclectic apartment. With its playful décor and carefree air of whimsy—and its location just minutes from all Manhattan has to offer—it's the perfect home base for your explorations.
Step right up
Your hosts are a creative duo with two children, a miniature schnauzer, and a passion for design that can be seen throughout their cheerfully curated apartment.

You'll feel inspired when you step inside this charming home, where antique furniture and contemporary design combine with a penchant for global curiosities. Bright pops of colour and warm wooden floors are bathed in light from the wall-spanning windows. Relax here with a book or a game; the collection of fabulous curios and whimsical lighting fixtures will energise your creativity.
As you wander the house, you'll delight in the artifacts and prints from around the world, from the ornate mirror and surfboard in the kitchen to the framed Betsy Ross flag in the living room. Tuckered out from the day's explorations? The kids will find sweet dreams in the imaginative children's bedroom, where row upon row of books invite reading under the covers. Find your own respite in the master bedroom. A minimalist four-poster bed takes centre stage among antique pieces and a fanciful cluster of framed photographs. A flying frog statue and Babar poster, among other knickknacks, reveal a flair for the whimsical.
On the midway
The Gramercy neighbourhood offers a diorama of life in Manhattan. A half-hour's walk or 10-minute subway ride puts you in the heart of Times Square, or escape the hustle and bustle in Madison Square Park. Lush lawns, play areas, a summer concert series, and the Snack Shack's famous milkshakes make the park a favourite destination for New Yorkers.
Nowhere is the neighbourhood's kaleidoscope of cultures more visible than in its food. Strike out east to find the busy Indian restaurants of Curry Hill, head north to Korea Town, or turn practically any direction for Thai, Philippine, Italian, and more.
This home comfortably sleeps three adults, with an additional top bunk in the bunk bedroom bringing the maximum occupancy to four.
Storage for the master bedroom is located right around the corner in the hallway closet. A hanging rail will also be provided for use in the children's bedroom.
This home is above the pub Churchill Tavern. On the weekends, it can get a bit noisy.
This home has air-conditioning in the master bedroom and living room only.
