Charlton Way is a four bedroom, four bathroom home in Venice. It was recently transformed from one of Venice's original 1921 cottages into a large, modern family home. Contemporary in style, the open-plan living area is made bold by splashes of color, patterned soft furnishings, and diverse artworks and gorgeous white oak floors. The sun filled, living/dining room opens directly out to the patio and daybed, leading to the leafy garden and beyond, complete with wood burning fireplace, sitting area, and dining table with cozy string lights. Upstairs, the ensuite master bedroom, painted deep green, with glossy wooden furniture, has a slightly more decadent feel, complete with outdoor sundeck that doubles as a bridge to the modern extension of the home with two more bedrooms on the upper level. The neighborhood is quiet and calm, but you’re not far from shop-and-café-lined Abbot Kinney Boulevard. The Venice Beach boardwalk is easily within reach, and it’s less than a 5 minute drive to charming Santa Monica.

Home truths

There is one parking space and unrestricted street parking in front of the home and on the surrounding streets.

This home features water purification for the entire home.

The second sitting room features blackout shades for optimal TV viewing.

There is a small double bed in the fourth bedroom. It can sleep two people, but is more comfortable for one.

The second sitting room sofa is also a double daybed for one additional adult or two children. Please let us know if you would like this to be made up when booking.

This home is spread over multiple floors with no internal elevator.


Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.

Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.

Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.

I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.

Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.

Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.

Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
