This home is a rare place to pause in Kensington. Entering the open-plan living area first, you’ll see a piano, half-screened by patterned curtains, straight ahead. To the right is the sitting area, which has a generous corner sofa, a richly coloured rug and row upon row of books. Beyond that, past a dining area with an inviting antique table, there’s the more contemporary kitchen, which has sleek white cabinets and countertops.
Next, a wooden staircase leads up to this home’s bedrooms. On the left is the master bedroom, a fawn-painted room with a king-size bed, a book-lined office corner and an ensuite bathroom. From here, doors open onto the decked terrace. Across the hall there’s the second bedroom, which also has a desk and an ensuite bathroom. And above that is the ensuite third bedroom – simple, with a few literary-themed artworks.
This home doesn't have air conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period.
This home's cleaner Lilibeth will come three times a week: 5-7pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday (except arrival and departure days).
Since the photos of Petersham Mews were taken, a table and sun umbrella are now available for you to enjoy on the terrace.
The bed in the third bedroom is ever so slightly narrower than a standard double at 135cm wide.
Cancellation. Provided you book more than 7 days before the start of your stay, you can cancel your booking within 24 hours and we’ll provide a full refund. Our flexible rate offers more flexibility for those who need it. Read our cancellation policy here. Please note bookings for Hamptons and French Riviera have a separate cancellation policy.
Check-in and check-out. We’ll meet you at the home at your convenience any time after 4PM on your arrival date, and our standard check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in and late check-out can be arranged in advance, subject to availability and a charge.
Lead guest. The lead guest must be at least 25 years of age.
I.D. check and card authorisation. When you arrive we’ll check the lead guest’s I.D. and secure a £1,000 hold on a credit or debit card which will be released once we confirm no damage was caused during your stay.
Smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke inside any onefinestay home.
Cleaning. We carefully clean and prepare each home before you arrive and after you depart, and for stays longer than seven days we provide a complimentary weekly Housekeeping service. More frequent Housekeeping visits can be arranged on request, subject to availability and a charge.
Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, and bank transfers for stays with at least 7 days’ notice.
