Real charisma Inside Queensdown Road, it’s cool and contemporary. First, a staircase runs past a toilet room and up to the open-plan living area. At the near end there’s a dining area, its glossy retro table set beside an exposed-brick wall. Opposite is this home’s sitting area, where two blue-velvet sofas flank a wood stove, above which hangs a monochrome Dan Hillier piece. Next, to the back of the space, you’ll find the kitchen, which has a marble breakfast bar with metal stools. Then up on the second floor there’s a bathroom (lavish, with a fur rug beside its roll-top bathtub) and two bedrooms – the poised second bedroom and the more playful third bedroom. Finally, the dramatic master bedroom is on the third floor. It’s decorated in black, grey and gold, and the super king bed faces a wall of windows. Through a door there’s an ensuite bathroom, also gold-trimmed.
